inevitable meltdown. The only sure prediction of this winter’s storm season is that eventually the snow is going to
melt and the resulting water will make its way around the foundation of your home or building. If your sump pump,
sump vault and associated drains and piping are not in good working order, this water could make its way into the
lowest level of your home and cause serious damage and mold growth.
There are two things many people do not realize:
Unless you have specific flood insurance, your homeowner’s policy will not cover losses associated with
melting snow.
Mold growth is documented as being a contributing factor of respiratory and other health problems.
Now is the time to make sure your system is operating the way it should – before the meltdown starts – so you are not
in need of emergency service which could prove inconvenient and expensive.
For just $99.00, we will perform the following:
1. Check that your sump pump is operating properly.
2. Check the sump pit for debris which may cause it to fail.
3. Test the battery charge (Battery back-up units only)
4. Visually inspect the discharge line for potential obstructions
5. Visually inspect the areaway drain (if applicable) for potential obstructions
6. Visually inspect all downspouts for potential obstructions and drainage issues
7. List and clearly explain any problem areas and make repairs as needed
Our service crews will arrive with all the necessary equipment to make any needed repairs at the time of your
scheduled service call. We will provide the cost of any additional work and get your approval before any work will
